Michelle Henry, Technician Assistant

After earning a Liberal Arts degree at NOVA, Michelle moved on to George Mason University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2000. She spent many years working in the finance industry, all the while she had a passion for working with and caring for animals. When a position became available at her local veterinary clinic, Michelle decided to jump in head first and follow her passion. Thus began her professional career in the veterinary field. Michelle started off as a receptionist, quickly showing enthusiasm and the ability to do whatever was needed, this allowed her to transition into a veterinary assistant position, which meant she was now working more closely with both doctors and the patients; her dream realized.

Michelle is a very active volunteer in animal rescue efforts throughout the Northern Virginia area. She has worked with Tanner & Bitsy groups such as Homeless Animal Rescue Team, A Forever Home Rescue Foundation, and 4 Paws Cat Rescue. In her spare time she cares for many of her own pets that she has rescued over the years. Her favorite pastime is hanging out with her husband Josh and her sons Braeden and Tanner.
