Megan Bradley

Receptionist

Megan started her career with animals in the spring of 1998, where she worked at a boarding, grooming, and training kennel for dogs. While attending college at Virginia Tech from 1999-2002, Megan majored in Equine Reproduction and Genetics and Dairy Science with a minor in English. She worked as a groom/handler/trainer at the equine reproduction center working with the mares, foals, and stallions. While at Tech, she was also a fixture on the riding team, winning many awards for the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association, and where she bought her first horse, an Appendix Gelding named Kaheel.

Megan worked as a veterinary assistant for 2 ½ years prior to joining the Hartwood Animal Hospital team as a receptionist.

She resides in Spotsylvania with her 5 year old daughter, Emma. Her animal collection consists of:

• 4 cats: Gretchen, Romeo, Belle, and Ashton
• 3 dogs: Shelby, Mindy, and Penny
• 2 horses: Kaheel & Jet
• And assorted tropical fish
