Alfred Jewett

Veterinary Assistant & Groundskeeper

Al grew up on a livestock farm in Cuba. After graduating from the University of Florida many moons ago with a B.S. in Animal Science from the College of Agriculture, he returned to Cuba. When political conditions deteriorated in Cuba, he returned to the United States.

He spent 26 years in the nursery and landscaping industry working and perfecting one of his gifts, growing plants and vegetables.

For the past 8 years, he has worked as a part time kennel attendant alongside his daughter, Dr. Jewett. Al and his wife, Nieves, live in Stafford County.

His hobbies include history, watching T.V., vegetable gardening and growing things - whether Kudzu, cabbages or pups.
