Wendy Anastasiou, Canine Behaviorist

Wendy has been working with animals and dogs for over 15 years. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Biology with an emphasis in Animal Behavior from the University of Colorado. In addition, she has completed graduate coursework in Psychology and Counseling with thesis work on the human/animal bond. Wendy is also a proud member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers and the International Institute for Applied Companion Animal Behavior.

Wendy & Harold Wendy has been involved in animal behavior modification and enrichment since 1996 when she worked as part of team to monitor behavior and create enrichment programs for lesser primates and small mammals at the Pueblo Zoo.

Since then, she has focused all her time and continuing education on the companion animal field. Wendy has experience as a vet tech, zookeeper, pet-sitter, dog walker, dog trainer, behavior modification counselor, dog daycare owner and veterinary supply representative. In the most recent past, she owned her own business in Oregon, which specialized in creating happy well-adjusted canine companions for 8 years.

Wendy currently shares her life with 4 dogs; Cody, Rutger, Harold, and Grace.
